fair value for money

I was a bit surprised to come across all the negative reviews for Kisha Popo, given that I'm there on a weekly basis due to its close proximity to my work.

I won't say the food is great, compared to other Japanese restaurants, nor will I make claims that the service is unsurpassed. However, it's not as bad as other online reviews are making it out to be.

I've never had a bad meal there, whether it has been AYCE or menu items. Service can be slow, but it took only a few visits to establish a good repoire with most of the waitresses. As for ambiance...well, there IS no ambiance, really, with the walls an ugly yellow and the layout itself more akin to a Denny's than a Japanese food restaurant.

But if you're looking for casual, inexpensive dining in this area of Richmond, Kisha Popo fits the bill.
