late night is a joke here...

I went recently for their late night AYCE. Having arrived around 940PM the waitress informed us that last call will be at 10pm. I asked them what time late night started...9:30pm. Already, I knew that this was going to be a bad experience because who has late night sushi but only allows a half and hour window to order? What a joke. On the way to our table we noticed several tables that were empty and not cleared. We were seated and basically had one shot to order what we wanted.

Some of the food came immediately, but less than what we ordered. We ordered 18 pieces of salmon sushi and only 8 pieces came. Someone from my party has been here before so knew what the portions were and many dishes were reduced in quantity from what we ordered. They were closing in 20 mins and I noticed that the sushi chefs were starting to clean up. But, we were still missing about 16 pieces of sushi and 2 Japanese pizzas. We asked a waitress about our missing food and she came back a moment later and said that they were sold out of the items. How can a sushi restaurant be sold out of salmon? She only said that because the sushi bar and kitchen was cleaned up for the day.

The food overall was decent and they do have some unique items on their menu for AYCE that other places don't have, but beware of late night. Arrive early and make sure you keep track of what you ordered and what they bring you...you may be shorted.

In the end, after some discussion with the waitress, they comped us the bill for 2 people.

Also, stay away from anything made from beef.
