I was totally disappointed as it had been one of the worst dining experience and japanese foods that i've eaten in my life.
For the price that i am paying, i expect it to be somewhat high in quality. But the quality was very poor indeed. Starting for the tea. The tea tasted funny, and tea leaves gets into your mouth every time you drink it. The Sashimi are ok, but are nothing special and can be bought at less than half the price here somewhere else.
I was disgusted by the sashimi beef, after chating with my friends for a while we found that blood are streaming down the beef into the sauce, which was a very unpleasant sight, and made us hesitate in eating it. Later we asked the waitress and she said it was "perfectly normal since the beef were frozen before", which made me even more angry at paying such price for eating some raw frozen beef. Nothing at all stood out and the motoyaki was even more disappointing. We couldn't even find the oyster meat, all there was was..cheese.
We went there around 6:30 and we were the only table there, which was very uncomfortable and strange since it was a relatively large restaurant. We were seated and we try to ask for a seat near the wall and the waitress told us that the seats there are closed and did not explain why, which was very strange.
And even though we were the only ones there, the service was extremely slow and the foods as well. The worst part is that the charged me twice on my debit card, which the first time was supposed to be "incomplete". Therefore i ended up having to go back to them to get a refund, which is a big hassle and a waste of time.
The following day after i ate at Kusshi i had a very bad belly ache, and i am almost positive that it was the food there since i havn't eaten anything else the next day. The "kaiseki" written outside was a big lie as the food is not even close to the Kaiseki that i had in Japan and Taiwan. It was a big disappointment and going in there was a huge mistake.
