why is this place getting worse...?

I come here for lunch at least once every two weeks and I have noticed lately that Tomokazu isn't good as it used to be. I used to really enjoy this place a lot, but the food quality is down hill from where it was a year or so ago.

That said, at 10 dollars per person for lunch its still a bargain and the food is still pretty good. But just not as good as it once was. The miso soup comes out cold at times and I have had several cases where the sunomono had no vinegar.

The service isn't very friendly neither is the host. He needs to learn customer service. Their old manager was excellent. They should bring him back. I think his name was Gary. I wish management would start training the staff better as the service is quite inconsistant. The washrooms are dirty as ever and has graffiti in them.

I still recommend this place but I do not recommend this place if you are in a large group as the service is embarrasing. I wish they could imporve their food quality to where it was when they first opened.
