Late Night at Shota was very mediocre

Last week I went to the late night at Shota and I must say their AYCE late night is very mediocre. Will not likely go back.

As they charge $14.95 on weekends, I was expecting great things. This is a few dollars than most other late night AYCEs in Vancouver.

The sushi and cones were heavily loaded with rice. So they want you till fill up on cheap rice.

The rolls were pretty good, but other than that, it was all around mediocre. The restaurant itself is very nice, but their late night quality is nothing compared to their regular AYCE full price sushi menu.

I recommend you go to any other late night AYCE for better food and better value. For example, if you are in Richmond it is just a 15 minute drive to ebi at Granville and W41st in Vancouver. In my opinion, ebi is ten times better than Shota.
